Highly disappointed. It DEFINITELY does not hold 68 ounces as advertised. Not worth the price for the size.

I really love the small size and tall shape of this pot, it's perfect for the kinds of things we usually fry. The only bummer is how thin the metal is on the bottom, I wish it was thicker to retain heat better, but it works well enough. Everything else looks good.

For most of the food we have switched from deep frying to air frying as air fried food is more healthy. But at times deep frying is required. I have a medium sized deep fryer but I don''t use that as it needs half a gallon of oil in it for frying and re-using the same oil is what I do not want.This small deep fryer is smaller than one-fourth the size of my fryer and needs just a little oil so that the fryer basket is covered to 3-4 inches for frying food. This is a good size if you want to fry small batches of food. I can do 8-10 fries or 4-5 fritters at a time which is ok with me. The only drawback is that the pot is very small in diameter so using it on gas stove heats it from sides and also the handle. The fryer basket has a metal handle to left it which also gets very hot. Most fryer baskets come with a long wood or silicon handle which would not heat up. I still like this a lot as it saves oil and does the job well.
