Hey Mikey - I like 'um. I had a quarter inch piece of mild steel in the vice so I made a couple side mill passes at about 1600 to 1800 rpm. I started at .035 cut and went up to .070 - all hand fed dry milling - chips came off shiny - no bluing - very little heat. .010 climb pass left a nice finish for carbide on mild steel. Cut some slots - .080 - dry - same rpm - similar chips. I put a hunkin chunk of cast in the vice. RPM @ 1100, depth .070, nice chip for cast - raised rpm to 14 or 1500 at same depth - hand fed. All looked very good. I like 'um. This was a quick test - they will take a lot. I think they're worth the price of admission. Inspection under 5x glass shows they are no worse for the wear - hard to tell they were used.5 Stars for The Linzuan 1/4" Tungsten Carbide AlTiN Coated End Mill

This is a nice quality set of 5 carbide 1/4-inch diameter AlTiN coated endmills. In use, they worked well and appear to have reasonable bit life. I am still using the first endmill I tried. The bits are sharp and have uniform coatings. They are designed to be used with metal, and the 4-flukes work better in mild steel than aluminum due to chip clearing. The AlTiN coating helps to keep the bits cool when operating and extends their life. The endmills have an upcut 45-degree spiral and the shank is marked with the bit’s specifications to help with identification and reordering. The cutting length is 5/8-inch, and overall length is 1-15/16-inches (50mm). Each endmill is packaged in a nice plastic case with a label stating bit size.These are nice solid 4-fluke carbide endmills that work well, and a good buy at this cost point.
