If you are looking for a very lightweight jacket that won't take up room in your suitcase, this is perfect for you. We bought the complete suit (pants and jacket) over 10 years ago for each of us. The sets have had multiple trips all over the world and are wonderful to pull out when weather gets bad. My husband's jacket finally wore out but pants were still good so I was so glad to see I could just order the matching jacket.Whether you have the jacket or full set, they fold down into a small packet (included). We will never travel anywhere in the world without our Frogg Toggs.Let's be honest: they are not fashion statements. They are work horses for bad weather without being heavy. When the weather is cool, they are even roomy enough to go over jackets or sweaters but a perfect weight for warmer climates. We have worn them when it was raining on the great wall of China, on ferries or ships with wind and rain; actually everywhere in many climates in Europe. We stayed completely dry when others around us were soaked. They are roomy so you can order your actual size which lets you wear them in any climate situation; cold or warm.We actually keep an extra set in our golf bags for inclement weather when we travel in the States. You will never regret buying Frogg Toggs. For the price, they are truly a bargain -- and a life savior.

It will keep you dry! Amazon suggests I talk about the comfort, and I don’t know if wearing a boxy tarp is comfortable, but it IS functional. Color was blue as shown. Style? It’s a boxy raincoat. It did come in its own little storage pouch, which I kind of found to be kind of useless. Just attach it to the raincoat and call it a packable raincoat. The hood is adjustable, has a drawstring and is big enough to have a hat underneath. Elastic wristband. Zipper placket to keep the wind and rain out.Quality? Hard to say- Almost never gets worn so I can’t speak to durability. Fabric? Well the material that I referred to as “tarp“ is actually a little more flexible and has kind of soft flannel interior, but it’s like the thinnest flannel material ever. Not knocking it, that’s just the way it is.This is definitely better than a plastic bag poncho- I got it on sale, and I feel like the sale price was the right price.

Me quedo grande pero esta bien para llevar un sueter abajo, no tiene bolsas , si es impermeable pero es muy delgada y es solo para uso ocasional , muy cara pero no hay más opciones, las baratas son de plastico y esta se ve mejor

Not only does this look and feel like a tarp, it fits like one too. I knew getting into this that these ran big, but decided to go with my usual size (L) because I like jackets to fit a little roomy, and figured extra room would fit over a hoodie or light jacket. What unfolded from the light but bigger-than-expected storage pouch was something closer to a XXL or even XXXL, no exaggeration. It looks like something I could use in my garden to protect an entire box planter from the elements. Not only is it huge through the chest and waist, but the arms are almost comically oversized - think Michelin Man territory. There is not cord to cinch the waist, nor are there any pockets or vents — i can live without the vents, but the lack of pockets or way to secure the waist is a serious drawback. And the folded version is no better - the pouch this comes in is too large to fit into the side/water bottle pocket of my backpack, which is where I like to keep emergency raingear like this for quick deployment during a hike. The only place it would fit would be inside the pack itself, where it would take up space from more essential items. This might indeed repel rain well, and I would probably fit into a medium or even small much better. But given the unpleasantly stiff, crunchy feel of the fabric, less than optimal portability, and lack of basic features like pockets and a fitted waist, I decided to treat myself and spend an extra ten bucks for something that actually fits me and doesn't make me look like a walking construction site.
