Had creaking coming from pedal, tightened it, greased it…..then changed BB and fixed it. The BB size was very small on the crank. So far so good after a few 100 miles

It would have been useful if the bracket had arrived with some fitting instructions including the possible addition of a loctite solution if the bracket did not fit snugly.
