I shoot mostly automotive and racetrack photography and this camera did not disappoint. It was fast enough to lock on cars with the new car tracking feature and made it out unscathed when i had to shoot in the pouring rain. Fujifilm out did themselves with this camera and i definitely see Fujifilms being more common in sports photography in coming years if they keep on this path. My only annoyance I had with this camera is flog 2. The lowest iso you can select is 1250. It made the darks in my videos grainy at times, although easily reversible with denoising tools.

I am so happy that I decided to get back to my film career and this was the camera I decided to get. I was always a film guy, shooting on my Arri SR2, so the digital world is kind of new to me (I directed some films on the RED, but I had a DP who shot those so I never touched the camera). I've been playing around with this and the image is just stunning. I have to learn what this f-log2 thing is, but from what I'm seeing, when graded, it looks amazing. I did get an ND filter for the lens since f-log 2 has an ISO of 1250 which is insane to me, but now I can stop it down to an ISO of 100 with that filter. A lot of neat things to discover here and I'm looking forward to getting my first short since before COVID shot with this soon!

La mejor camara de la linea fuji que he tenido, aunque la curva de aprendizaje muy larga, la Xt5 si tuviera el sensor apilado y grabara 120 fps, esta ni existiera.

Upgraded from my Fuji XT-3 to this and was definitely worth it.The perfect hybrid system. With incredible video features and wonderful photo capabilities - it’s the only camera you need to create stunning, almost cinema like images.Just remember if you want to get the full video capabilities of this system you will need to invest in a CF Express card so it does add to the cost. Also - there is no battery charger included so will have to get one of those as well. But we’ll worth it!

This camera can pretty much do it all. I use mostly for video. I love the internal 10bit recording and the Prores option. SD cards and Cfexpress cards are not cheap , but worth it if you want to get the most out of this camera though. But between that and an Atomos Ninja V recorder, at least you have options. Nice work Fuji.

Gran desempeño, auto foco suficientemente decente, las simulaciones son definitivamente su gran plus, grabar en prores también es una maravilla si te dedicas al video.

The Fujifilm X-H2S in my opinion is the perfect hybrid camera.Fujifilm has made really thoughtful decisions on the design of this camera. They have gone with a stacked sensor and the same resolution as the previous generation. The stacked sensor means a very fast sensor readout, making this a great camera for silent shooting, sports and video.Keeping the resolution at 26MP reduces the possibility of noise creeping up associated with fast sensor. So a fantastic compromise, that doesn’t bow down to marketing. We as photographers are better for that. This is an excellent camera for both photographers and videographers!A quick background:I am a Sony full frame photographer that has been using every version of the A7R series. I currently have the A7R IV.I did have the Fujifilm X-H1, but regretfully sold it a couple of months ago to focus on one system.I was on vacation in Europe when the Fujifilm X-H2S was announced, so I really did not get the time to follow the release. On getting back and curating some of the pictures from my vacation, I realized some of my favorite photographs were from the X-H1.This led me to take a second look at the X-H2S. This camera is exactly the balance that I was looking for and the bonus is the excellent Fujifilm “film” simulations. The picture look great straight out of the camera. The Eterna video profile also really reduces the need to process video on the computer. It just looks great. The high speed readout of the sensor makes silent shooting practical and videos looking great. This is not just a great sports and video camera, but a great all around camera.I think it is worth the asking price over competitors at the same level, even full frame ones. It’s been a week since I purchased and will update this review as I gain more experience with it.I am tempted to get another body in the near future. It’s that good.Highly recommended!Update 3/23/2025After all this time, I still feel this the most balanced hybrid camera made across all formats (full frame/35mm, APS-C, 4/3)This is among the few cameras that can record ProRes internally. Not even the A9II, A9II with full frame sensors at significantly higher price can do this. While I love my Sony system, I depend on the X-H2S as a hybrid for double duty as an exceptional video and photo machine. The build quality and weather protection is exceptional. The top LCd is great to get a Quick Look at my settings. The X-H2S hs aged beautifully and this model is still extremely powerful and balanced compared to the cameras released in the last couple of years. The CFexpressB slot is great for high capacity cards to do double duty for video and burst photo shooting. I use the second sd card slot for Heif/jpeg.If you want a future proof camera, this is the closet you can get.
