These are not laminated bookmarks. They are just a thick paper with a slightly glossy kind of print on both sides. They are like the bookmarks I would get from the school librarian as a kid. So if you're looking specifically for laminated bookmarks, you will either need to laminate them yourself, or not get these. That being said, I really didn't care that they were not laminated. They are great bookmarks, came with a good amount for the price, and they serve their purpose wonderfully. I love them. We use them in all of our books, but they go very well with our Magic Treehouse book collection, and our Harry Potter book collection. I do recommend them.
