I purchased the version specific to the BMW X3, and the overall fit is pretty good, though not perfect. The front end seems to fit much better and tighter than the back, which is a bit too big and billows in the wind. I like the tie-downs at each wheel that secure the cover from blowing away in the wind. The single zipper access to the driver-side door is also helpful for occasional access to the car without having to take the entire cover off.The cover is a dark black with reflective accents and seems thick enough to provide both UV protection as well as protection from wind and small debris. The cover is waterproof which is great for rain and snow, and the seams are well-stitched for long durability.

I ordered this cover to protect my 2013 Mini Cooper (2 door, last year of the 2nd generation of "modern Minis"). Seeing the (wide!) range of vehicles this was supposed to fit gave me some concerns about how the cover would fit my particular vehicle, and those concerns were warranted. The cover itself is nicely made, with five layers of fabric to provide a waterproof and sun-shielding protective layer. The inner cotton layer is soft, and should help keep the "cover buffing" to a minimum on windy days, though the fit is going to make that difficult. One thing that's missing from this cover is a clear indication of the front of the cover - a feature on most car covers I've had before. That's nice because you just locate the tag, and you know how to place the cover on the car. Without it, at least the first install will be hit-and-miss. Of course, if you're like me, you'll roll it up in a way that you'll know how to place it the second time, but it would be nice to have the tag.The first and second generations of the Mini Cooper (two door) vehicles are really small vehicles. They get lost in parking lots because they're hiding behind bigger cars, like a VW Bug. I'd say that a cover made for the first two generations of Minis would fit the hardtop 2-door models, as well as the convertible variant just fine. But stretching the fit to cover up to the current production (2024 models) was a bridge too far.The first generation Mini was (HxWxL) about 55.5 x 66.5 x 143 inches, and the 2nd generation was similar, but 3" longer. A cover designed for the 2nd would fit the 1st generation vehicles very well. But by the time you get to the 4th generation Mini, it's grown to 57.5 x 69.1 x 152 inches - which is a lot bigger, particularly in length. As a consequence, the cover on my 2nd generation Mini blouses loosely over the back, and really sags around the doors as well (with the zippers fully open, the cover still obscures the top few inches of the window, making it difficult to open (see photo).Another shortcoming is the lack of a hole of any type for the antenna. Later models have a short, stout rubber duckie style antenna, but my 2013 has a tall, spring-loaded wire antenna that's really not going to be happy bent double by the cover for long periods, probably leading to a perpetually crooked antenna.Really, I suspect that if you order this cover the the 4th generation Mini, it'll probably fit well and do a great job protecting it. It's just "sub-optimal" for the first couple generations (and maybe the 3rd, which is an inch or two smaller than the 4th generation in dimensions).

I took a chance with this car cover because the Amazon description does not include list the Mini Cooper Clubman as a car this cover fits. I can now say it does fit my 2013 Mini Cooper Clubman including its rear spoiler. The cover is not very form fitting so there is a lot of room to fit various cars near in size to the Mini Cooper 2-door. It should accommodate most roof racks and spoilers. There appears to be no hole for the rear stubby antenna. The cover is so tall that it covers the car and the antenna at the same time.Straps near the tires to tie the cover for a secure hold. I haven’t used those yet. Maybe I will tie the cover down if the wind becomes too gusty. When I first attempted to install the cover, it was difficult to determine which end was for the front of the car. Other car covers I have used had a label or tag along the inside edge indicating front or rear. It wasn’t until I had the cover completely open and I could see the side mirror pockets and the zippered door openings to determine where the front was.The outer layer of fabric is taffeta which tends to be a bit stiff. The cover is a bit too large for my vehicle and along with the fabric stiffness it tends to be a bit unwieldy when installing or removing the car cover. I would not recommend attempting to install/remove the cover when there is a moderate or more breeze. It would probably make a great sail. The zippered door flaps (both sides) are very convenient. I occasionally need to get something from my car so it is very helpful to handy to use the zippered flaps to gain access to the car interior without removing the whole cover. It would have been nice to have color choices. I am concerned that a black car cover in the summer could get exceedingly hot inside the car. How about a light grey?

I was looking for a car cover for our soft top Miata to protect the top and also keep the car clean (particularly from our awful spring pollen). This cover met most of my requirements but didn't actually come in a size/model for the Miata, so I took a chance that the mini Cooper cover would fit, which luckily paid off. It's not an exact fit, obviously, but if anything the Miata is smaller than a Mini so it works well enough. The cover itself appears to be made of a nice, heavy duty material that I think will stand up to at least a year of the sun hitting it. The cover is a nice medium weight-- heavy enough to not blow off the car if we don't use the straps, but light enough that it's not too cumbersome to get on and off. This is a great item to protect our car.

The cover was supposed to fit a MINI Coop, and while it does cover it, it also kind of swallows it. We have it tucked in underneath in the back because it was actually quite long in length. It seems to fit well over the hood area. On the sides, the door seams are not over the top of the door but rather come down on the window a bit, so you have to pull it up to access the driver's seat. The material seems OK, though not as heavy as some covers we've used in the past, so I'm not sure how long it will last in the Florida sun. We do have the car parked under another carport canopy, and that will help. The cover does cover the MINI Coop for sure, just maybe a little too much coverage in length. We had to secure the end so wind wouldn't take it.
