I don’t use it often but it definitely is a lightweight cover for warmer weather.

This car seat covers ought to be called just a baby cover. It can also be used in carriers, strollers, while nursing, etc. I am sure there are more uses.The fabric is a super soft breathable cotton muslin.The cover has wide straps (guessing 2") with velcro so the cover can easily be attached to the bar and hang down. It is not fitted with elastic but hangs loosely.There are three snaps for closing the cover.I really like how breathable this is and that it provides shade without cutting off air.The pouch it comes in is plastic with a slider. Since the cover does not come with a bag or a case, the pouch could be used for storage and keeping it clean when taking it places.

This baby cover is perfect. It also doubles as a nursing cover. The material is a muslin style cotton that is very lightweight, breathable, soft, and easy to clean. It is not sheer, so you will have privacy if using this for nursing. I did notice that the selection is incorrect however; I selected rainbows pattern and was sent the pink one (and the pink one was the picture shown when I selected rainbows). So be very careful about what pattern you are selecting!

I like that you can use this carseat cover as a nursing cover in a pinch. I do prefer the stretchy covers to this one usually because wind easily blows this cover right off, but it's fine for use indoors or on non-windy days to give baby privacy. It doesn't block much light so it doesn't really do much in the sun, so if you are looking for a cover that will darken the carseat for napping, look elsewhere or get a darker color.

This car seat cover is very nicely made. Soft muslin with finished edges. The part that hooks onto the car seat handle is fastened with velcro and is thick and sturdy. Nice snap edges so you can open the cover-up easily to see the baby but also is lightweight enough that you don't feel like you are suffocating her (or him) with a heavy blanket. It lets in some light but is very filtered so no sun exposure issues. Great item for a gift if you are looking for something for a new parent.
