This was my 14-year-old son’s first time playing lacrosse so when these were delivered, I thought they were incredibly small but it seems that’s the way they’re supposed to fit. He’s been playing with them for about a month now and so far they’re holding up well.

Purchased for a small 7y after his old equipment failed to meet new standards. Fit is great, and has plenty of room to grow over next few seasons. Elastics are strong and adjustable, and my son has no complaints of being uncomfortable while wearing.

My son needed new lacrosse pads and the requirements for 2022 shoulder/chest pads are being updated. Shoulder pads must display the NOCSAE logo and SEI certification mark to be legal for play next year. The STX Stallion 75 pads are listed by USALacrosse as being approved, but buying online is always difficult. The listing shows two sets of pictures, one with the logo and one without. Another review said they received pads that would not be legal in 2022, so I was unsure what I'd get. I'm happy to say that the pads we received do have the logo and the solid piece over the sternum that's about to be required.
