So the shelf itself obviously like any Amazon furniture its sturdy but not STURDY, it’s still sturdy enough and just big enough to place a Vizio TV on it 🙂↕️. The shelf looked so much bigger with the AI feature obviously that’s on me lol the shelf isn’t that big at least to me it’s a lil skinny but it holds what needs to be stored so whatever, it was pretty easy to build, my sister held the parts while i screwed in things with a screw driver and it maybe took a little under an hour, it is a two person project and the estimated build time is 50 mins. I sawed holes on the back for my sister and I’s Nintendo’s. The backing is fairly thin it’s not a thick piece of wood but clearly it holds fine 🙂↕️

I bought 5 of these to create a bookshelf wall. The first 4 units were easy to assemble. All parts included (no extras) and the material was clean, straight, and undamaged. All holes aligned perfectly. Until the 5th unit. Yikes. One broken screw could not be used and I didn't have the same size at home so had to figure most strategic place to miss a screw. Then the stabilizing bolt lock broke. I'm not that strong but it just shattered. Then I noticed a big scratch in the bottom support piece which of course was on the front facing side. Bummer. 4 out of 5 were stellar and my bookshelf wall looks amazing.

I didn't buy this with the expectation that it would be absolutely amazing. It was more about getting our arts & crafts supplies a bit more organized. But, it turns out to be a pretty sturdy and reliable shelf.The delivery was quick, though the packaging leaves a bit to be desired. There were some small dents in the box that actually pressed through, denting the shelf itself. Nothing massive, and not a deal-breaker for us. It was reasonably quick to put together, but the directions were also a little unclear. Each step has a picture and written explanation, but the inserting of the back panels was never written, only vaguely shown in the pictures. As a result, I get to the end of putting it together and realize I have no way left to put the panels in. I had to remove the top and loosen the sides in order to slip the panels in after the fact.
