Product looks okay, not something I’ll recommend someone, as it’s very annoying to keep removing the cover while taking pictures, I went on holiday and literally used just the strap. Very expensive for the material your paying for. There’s more cheaper version that could do the job if you want the cover but as for me I didn’t use the cover(too bulky).

First up the description states this is a camera case for the Sony G7X MkII/MkIII cameras. No, Canon makes the G7X series of cameras not Sony.It is a well designed case with excellent protection covering the camera and with the lens cover section removed has total access to all controls, side and bottom battery compartments and rotating screen without obstruction. The base mounts to the bottom with a 1/4"-20 screw which also allows the camera case to be attached a tripod with the case on.The carrying strap mounts to the camera and not the case. The mounting rings are very small and it can be a challenge to mount them onto the camera eyelets. Once on it is a solid strap that will not come off. This is not a quick release strap and taking it off later I would disconnect the strap keeping the rings on.The waterproof PU leather is shiny and very smooth with no odor of real leather. Overall a very nice looking well fitting case that reliably protects the camera.

I think this product is overpriced for what it is - it isn't real leather and it doesn't fit my camera as well as I wanted it to for the price. I would look into other camera case options, such as the real leather ones that you can get for the same price!
