So my original set of pulleys lasted over 14 years, and only replaced as a preventitive measure. Bought this part and almost 9 months later squealing / squeaking began as my morning tune coming out this pulley. Its half the price of the Mercedes Pulley, so I expected few more years of trouble-free operation, but boy was I wrong. Don't waste your money and buy OEM

Es la primera que compro, pero la calidad del empaque y del producto se ven y siente desdé qué empiezas a tocar.

My daughter plays double bass. She has used this and has had no complaints.

I just started learning to use a bow. So... I don't have much to compare it to. But... all I know is that when I apply to rosin to the bow and then I apply the bow to the bass, a sound comes out. To me, that means this stuff does exactly what it's supposed to do. I just made sure to get rosin with a density that suits the climate I live in. Humidity and temperature should be factors to consider, when choosing rosin. This one seems perfect for Huntsville, Muskoka, Ontario, Canada.

I did a spot check by trying a bow swipe and doing a quick test and it “feels” like it will work for what I need. I have not tried it over a period prof time to provide an honest opinion. But all matters involving this rosin are a 5 start for me.

I bought this Resin for my son, who is a first time bass player. It's very easy to work with and does a great job on his bow. It also came recommended by his music teacher as being a great product.

This is the third time I changed idler pulley for my car. Previous ones were less expensive unknown brand and also lasted only one year. Gates is more expensive and it's been well over a year and still working fine. It's a well known brand for pulley.

This was purchased to replace a bad idler pulley on a 2008 Mercedes E350. The item includes the OEM (made in Germany) pulley, bolt, and necessary washers. It takes literally 1.5 minutes (if you aren't video-taping it) to replace after removing the belt - use a 17mm socket to loosen the belt tensioner. The bolt that comes with this item is an external torx bolt, size 12, so you need an E-12 socket to replace this part. Most of the time, an idler pulley will begin to make a loud noise before it breaks and destroys the serpentine belt and leaves you stranded. It isn't a bad idea to replace this part at around 60,000 miles as the plastic can crack on the back of the pulley or the bearing can seize. If your plastic pulley is intact and does NOT show little cracks on the back, you can just replace the bearing with an NSK brand one from your local industrial supply store (like Grainger). You should tighten the bolt to 18 ft-lbs when re-installing the pulley. Gates supplies NAPA with parts, but their pulley was $40 and did not include the bolt or washers! They could order you this part (which includes the bolt and washers) for over $70!!!To see the video, search YouTube for: 2008 Mercedes E350 Idler Pulley Replacement*Sorry for the loud noise, I have a 30" shop fan running in the background.*
