Installed this kit on my 2011 Jetta. Fit prefect and water pump is not leaking. I question the date on the belt but found it hard to find any information about shelf life/ manufacturing date.

Excellent Gates product!Locally it was going to be $300- $400 for the same parts.Did it myself in about 4 hrs with a few interruptions.Quality steel impeller on water pump was nice to see as OEM was plastic.A relief to have it done and not think about it for a few years.

This is my second purchase of this product. First kit is over 4 years old and 60,000 miles later. Water pump seal finally failed. I drive like a maniac with a five speed and high revs. Great kit for the price. old timing belt and idler still look great.

Product fit and worked perfectly in our VW Jetta. Exact replacement. Just take your time installing the parts. Car is ready for another 4 years. Will order again to fix another VW we have.
