Don't get me wrong, it is sturdy, but when I put my at4040 on it, the only way for it work, was to put the legs all the way down. Even then, if i touch mic. It tries to fall over. So dont touch it, i guees. All seriousness aside, im not happy.

I love that this little stand holds my mic in place without tipping over. When adding a shock mount, XLR cable and pop filter, I had to adjust the center of gravity, but once I got it, it stayed in place for hours. Great item.

The stand arrived in good time and is as advertised. It's sturdy, folds up whennot in use, and it hold the microphone steady.However what distinguishes a good product from an excellent one, is often the little things.In this case, it is the clip where the mic is connected. Adjustment of the angle is by means of a screw,which means a screwdriver is needed. I think if they had used a thumbwheel or some kind of similar hand operated means of tightening the screw when adjusting the mic angle, that would have made it much more convenient.Hence, not bad, but 4 stars, for not "wearing the user hat"..
