I plugged it in the very first time and it went kaput. I am beyond disappointed. I cannot even use the product. Even the battery compartment cannot keep the batteries in place. Totally wasted my money on buying this item.

I looked high and low for a CD player that also offered SD card compatibility. The controls are easy to use and intuitive. It's a nice sounding little boombox.

DEFINITELY not worth for a "main radio", But has a wide variety of options. Perfect for having a radio on for pets, or listening to talk radio or podcasts. Or some music in the background. Cheap Headphones are going to be a better music listening experience than this thing's speakers.I mean, it's fine for something small and basic. But the speakers don't get THAT loud. Just doesn't have a fidelity for music that plays in a broad range (low bass to high treble). Bass? Nah. Mids and low-highs.3 Stars because of it's size and options. Lost 2 stars because the speakers are not good for playing music loudly.
