They make plugs as advertised but they always seem just slightly small I would prefer them to fit in without wood filler around the edges.

So far at least the 3/8" works great! Bores easily, doesn't burn its way through the wood like others I have tried. And is true to size, unlike others I have tried like Harbor Freight. (Normally I love Harbor Freight tools. But every once in awhile you can get something that isn't quite right.). Be careful many of the Plug Cutters sold on Amazon are metric. Close in size but not exactly right.Would recommend.

Trying to up my game when it comes to woodworking, and these plug-cutters do the trick. Beefy, high-quailty and cutting plugs out of solid maple with no problems. The plugs fit perfectly and virtually disappear when trimmed and sanded down. Bye bye ugly screw holes!

Worked well for making 3/8 inch oak plugs. Plugs are exactly 3/8 inch. Bit seems to dull after 50 or so plugs, but much cheaper than buying plugs off the shelf. Also makes it possible to have plugs from matching stock.

The plug cutters work pretty well. I got them to cut plugs for a project I am building and have been using them in my drill press. The plugs do get stuck in the cutter every now and then, but can be popped free with a screwdriver pretty easily. Just be careful when popping them out because the cutter does naturally get pretty hot from friction.This is my first set of plug cutters, so I can't say how they stack up to more expensive ones. But, they work well for my purposes. Very affordable too.

Lo use una vez y corto excelente, la segunda vez ya no corto casi nada y hasta quemo la madera, creo que el diseño es bueno pero no el material que están hechos o tal vez venían dañados.
