Great kit - very practical and efficient design. You can’t beat old military design - they were interested in utility and efficiency… no gimmicks or unnecessary features. Just good, solid practicality. This is a great little set. I wish it was stainless steel for health reasons, but otherwise, no complaints. Honestly, if I’m using this, then long term health is less of a concern than immediate survival anyway. Great price for something of this caliber. Very happy and, in my opinion, this is far better than any of the more expensive “modern” designed kits that I own now.

This is a great cookware set that will last many, many years. A little heavier than many cook sets made today, but not by much. However, if you count that you have the versatility of a pot, a bowl, a cup, a fry pan, and a cover for the pot… it comes in at a very reasonable weight. It is aluminum and all three main cook or serve pieces weigh about 1 lb.This is a post WW II West German soldiers cook kit. The original would have been made of steel/tin.Many places sell these for $25 to $50, including other sellers on Amazon, and on EBay. This is a very good deal from Genround at less than $20.
