I had to un-solder the output jack, fit it back in and re-solder the jack, but otherwise still than that the installation and soldering pickups to the kit is very easy, and all pre-soldered areas including the wiring is very well done.

Switch became intermittent after couple months. Wiggling the switch lever made it work. Cleaned switch, didn't fix. Found that that the solder lugs are attached to the pcb by crimped eyelets. I soldered the eyelets down and it works fine. Suggest you do the same to prevent surprises while playing. I think the eyelets got a bit loose after use or perhaps some corrosion. These should be soldered at the factory for better reliability. Otherwise a great product for the price.

If you have a beginner guitar with bad potts this is amazing. For the price you can't beat it. It's easy to install and works.
