We have Alexa connected devices all over our home. We hooked this up to the floor lights under our bed, it will change to any color by just telling Alexa which you want. We are officially lazy now. I can turn on any light, the tv, the air filter, and the fireplace! Definitely a 5 star product!

No dislikes at all with this.

When using two led strips, Wi-Fi connectivity is lost and reconfiguration is required. This becomes obvious as the led lights continually blink in an annoying manner. This makes the Wi-Fi functionality of this device useless when using the two led outputs provided by this device.

Great product plugged right in and worked perfectly. Even rf so no need for direct line of site for remote. You can basically hide it behind a wall and it will still get the signal.

So the recommended app requires localization ... Why does it need this, WiFi sure, ok. but uneasy about localization ... especially when connected directly to the unit and not configuring it for network connection. The unit itself seams solid but it will only work the RGB or the Warm-White LED at a time, it does not want to support both (Found reversed engineered script for sending socket commands to the unit instead of relying on app, as I dont care for it)but I'm unsure if this 'feature' was intended to prevent LED strip damage, to prevent missive current draw that would damage the unit ... I just know that this unit will not allow for it (or at least I'm unable to get it to run both)I'm testing/running functions with a 5m 5050 led strip 60RGB and 60WW so for my strip the LEDs are separate and I think the strip could be ran with both sets working. moving on.The provided IR remote only allows RGB color settings, even when selecting white, it just mixes the RGB; would be nice if I could adjust the Warm White set from the IR remote.the unit claims it can take 12-24vdc, however I doubt there is a buck converter/regulator built into this unit for the LED strip itself so I would only venture to apply the voltage that aligns to the LED strip you have (otherwise I would assume there would be a switch to select the LED strip voltage).I've not place a heavy load onto the unit yet; I do have plans to have the one unit run 2 strips (power calcs and design suggest this is allowed) at the same time, this unit is rated not to exceed 140watts so use of a fuse to ensure not to damage the unit/lights.Amazon has a section here 'Adhesion' my purchased controller didn't come with a pad/method for 'sticking' this controller to anything which is fine, I would prefer a bracket over sticky tape (the unit is super light and tape might be fine, just a preference)Amazon has a section here 'Brightness' this is the controller ... I assume the basic design is a series of MOSFET to control the flow to the LED elements ... so I've not rated the area as 'Brightness' would be more of the source power supply rather then the controller.UPDATEI've used this now to control 2 strips at the same time as mentioned above. The controller can/does perform this action adequately ...
