Terrific bag! I was looking for a lightweight, semi rigid, foam/fabric bag for my Mitchell MU 40C concert uke and this hit all the points.Zipper design is clever. The angled zipper is easy. I can remove my uke while proping the bag up.The entire bag is lined with foam batting. Feels very cushioned all over.Inner pocket is big enough to put my Talia junior disc journal (3/4 disc) fully loaded with paper.It was the only bag I found that might fit a music book. It sure does. There is enough room to put not one but 2! Hal Leonard music books (curving around the body of the instrument).I personally like that it doesn't show the shape of the instrument. Incognito. I feel less nervous about leaving it on the beach when swimming.Speaking of which. The grey on tan fabric is sand proof.The caveat: this sucker stunk. I mean literally. That moth balls, shipped over seas smell that you get with so many things. It was harsh. Simply airing it out for 3 days didn't work, and it actually made my uke stink from being stored in it.The great news is it is totally washable! On cold, by it's lonesome, regular cycle with a febreeze tide pod and an extra rinse the smell is nearly gone. Thanks febreeze!I ordered two colors: the bohemian and this one. I sent back the bohemian. I liked the colors but the fabric on the one I kept made the bag a bit more ridgid. Plus, the cotton weave looked like it would get tore up and crummy looking.

Love the modern look. It’s sturdy and lightweight. Padding is good, but not meant to protect like a hard case would, but I feel it will be ok to stop minor bumps. Plenty of room for tuner and extra strings.

The material was so saturated with smelly chemicals from China that the fabric was damp. I didn’t even want this item in my house bc the moment I took it out of the bag it reeked. Currently running it through the HE washer(I don’t know if it’s machine washable bc there were zero instructions.) It came folded like a pair of leggings. Not what it looks like in the pic.UPDATE: after washing it in hot water w/2 tide pods(unscented)it managed to smell 10x worse. Imagine the smell of gasoline meets cat pee. I took it straight to the trash outside. Amazon refused to refund me& kept asking me to mail the nasty thing back to them even though it’s toxic& said the seller did “nothing wrong.” This purchase is going to seriously make me think twice before shopping on this website. I have been a customer since 2006. This item and the seller should be banned! Nothing purchased at a local store in the US is going to smell ANYTHING like this item! It’s certainly not worth the price point, and as another reviewer stated; they wouldn’t pay $5 for this.

As a pilot, I travel extensively and decided to start bringing my ukulele to play in the hotel. This case works perfectly since I can store the ukulele in the cockpit and prevent it from damage. If I had to store the case in an overhead bin, I would purchase a hard case.

I use the Rock Band 3 Keyboard controller as a midi controller with my computers/iPad. I wanted a case to keep dust off of it and to make it portable, and this fits it flawlessly. It leaves about an inch free all the way around it, is well padded, and the neck strap for the uke' even fits over the pitch-bend part of the controller.A very sharp looking bag too!
