This value tool is easy to use, very functional, for making equally spaced holes for pamplet and book binding. It seems to be nice quality, made of sturdy, solid wood. It is easiest to fit into and line up underneath the top acrylic punch guide, with a standard 8.5" x 11" piece of paper or cardstock folded in half across the 8.5" width. The three rows of holes on the right side are for multiple punch configurations with a bi-level wood edge guide or stop, to keep paper evenly lined up when punching holes. The left side has one row of holes for the center fold or spine on folded paper. The thick, clear acrylic top hole template guide has every other hole enhanced with an extra wide circle mark around the hole and, arrows to indicate the edge of page line up. The thumb screws, with large plastic heads, are easy to grip, turn and tighten into metal reinforced holes, to hold paper in place while punching equally spaced holes as needed with, an included lightweight awl. Also included is a straight and a curved needle and, strong waxy feeling thread to get started with book binding. No instructions are included so, you will have to search through the many available videos or other sources about how to use a tool like this and how to stitch binding.

Came with everything shown. Great quality items; will work for rebinding an old book that I own.
