I put an 82cc BBK with 18.5 x 20.5 valves in my scooter. I needed to tune the CVT next.I installed this clutch with a new Glixal variator, 6.5g weights and new belt. I had a set of 1500rpm "Yellow" springs ready to go, that way I could see which set I liked best.With the 2000rpm Red springs I didn't like the feel of it. The engine had to be revving just too high. I swapped the 1500rpm Yellow springs in and that was a much better match for my bike. The engine engages right where I like it now and it has a nice response curve. For variator weights, I am currently running 7g sliders. I haven't tried using the different ramp angles yet. I plan on testing them out though.If you're tring to tune your scooter I would recommend buying this clutch plus a set of 1500rpm springs. That way you can give both a try.Another thing I would suggest is using a couple 8in long 3/8 extensions to compress the torque spring to install the belt in the groove. You use the extensions to squeeze the pulley how the belt would, using two hands. Make sure they are round and smooth and it should be easy.

Like other reviews, I changed out springs for lighter. I also needed to sand torque driver because burrs were making it tougher to open and close. Now with 1500 springs it’s great and reliable. But 1st you need to do some adjustments. Great for price but not exactly plug and play.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this new clutch.. Great launches but the spring is too stiff for my 50cc to hit top gear.. pulls all the way up to top of rpm range though.. GREAT clutch.. I suggest opting for the 1500rpm spring over the 2000rpm spring for 50cc scooter.. or swap the main spring yourself which is what I'm going to ATTEMPT to do.. Otherwise it's an AMAZING clutch.. DEFINITELY recommend this1
