The price was amazing for this-- the overall quality is great. The black is a little washed in some of the areas, but not enough to make any of the outlines confusing. It's really easy to put in pins, but you can't push them in all the way (can only push them in ~1/8"). Spins well, or can be tightened to not spin at all.

This is super cute it's perfect to display where you have traveled. My husband and I had a great time putting our little pins in and can't wait to travel more and add pins. It's like the perfect size for a coffee table

I felt this was a bit of a pricey purchase, but it was what I really wanted. It looks great and will serve the purpose, but it was missing the 100 pins!

This little globe is a great alternative to a having a large wall map to document your travels. The globe is small enough that it doesn’t look gaudy as a decorative accent, but it’s large enough that the outlines of the countries, states, and territories are still visible after you push the pin in them. Some smaller islands will “disappear” when you push a pin in them, but that is expected. I ended up buying metallic colored push pins (rather than the colorful ones that came with the package), and I think they keep the globe looking classy. The push pin size is 1/8 in, and the size of the pin head is 4 mm.This globe makes me want to travel (even more) to new places so I can add some additional pins :)
