Such a shame. Would have been a beautiful item but batteries do not last long at all. Constantly replacing them. I missed return by a few days. Don't waste your money.

Got this for a Christmas gift for our daughter. It's very nice. If the volume on the Christmas Carol could be adjusted a bit lower it would be better. But at least it can have the snow globe effect without the Carol too.

This snowglobe way surpassed my expectations. I have a few snowman snow globes, but wanted a nativity one also, for the grandkids to be reminded of the real meaning of Christmas. The figures are of story-book likeness, which is perfect for kids. Aaaand - the light-up glittering snow is gorgeous! It sparkles and shines so brightly and illuminates through the holes on the top part, so the walls around it sparkle with beautiful moving light. I use the plug-in feature, so I can't say how long batteries would last. And I honestly haven't even tried the music. (I don't think it needs it!) It was a little more than I wanted to pay for another snowglobe, but so glad I bought it! It's a keeper! 😄OK - Update: I tried the music. It was SO loud (I turned it off right away!) and sounded like an old community or church choir, which is fine - Except with the nativity characters depicting story-book likeness, I would think children singing "Away in a Manger" would be much more appropriate!! Still 5 star though. I just don't turn the music on.
