Perfect fit for the old resistor that quit working in my 21 year old truck. Appears to be better constructed than the original part that only now after 21 years, quit working. Happy the leads to the blower motor are of an equivalent gauge to the original; so many times new replacements are ‘more lightly constructed’.

I had lost my #1 fan speed on the blower. Speeds 2-5 worked.It took ~45 minutes to replace this mostly because I was slow.This installed "reversed" from the original, but fits perfectly. The wiring harnesses just clip in place.Find a video regarding the installation if you have questions. It's awkward, but not difficult.

Installed this into a 2006 Chevy Silverado. It works great. Even though the description said it would fit my truck, the screws holes didn't line up so I was only able to put in 1 screw.

Be Careful to note that the way we found out that the part needed replacing was that only the 5 Fifth speed on the blower would work until this part was replaced .

Part arrived in good condition and youtube video for installation made it pretty easy to replace. That back screw on the fan cover can be difficult to reach with a socket but keep at it and you'll get it. The part works perfect in my 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 ext cab and I have 5 fan speed controls again. Took maybe twenty minutes to put in only because of that one rear fan cover screw being hard to access. A small hand mirror and flashlight was helpful. Great product and works fine. Only been in a few weeks but so far so good.**** update Feb2017 .. part still functioning great , no complaints ******
