Decided to pay the extra delivery from Germany in the hope that the quality would be good, and it was. Nice and dark, polaroid coating and flip mechanism is good. Glad I went with a European product.

Very nice quality clip on, flip up glasses. I got tired of having to take my clip on sunglasses on and off depending on the lighted situation or going into a store. They clip on nicely and flip up and down with ease. They are plenty dark for the brightest of days. They might look a little bit funky when you have them flipped up without wearing a hat, but at my age, 64, who cares? Love them.

Well... 4.9 stars anyway.These clip-ons arrived very well-packed. The additional pieces, carrying pouch with "crab claw" fixing, and cleaning cloth were all separately packed into plastic bags, as were the actual clip-ons, and the whole set were then packed into a cardboard box, so there is virtually no way they could arrive damaged. The soft case is actually large enough. Several makes I've had which included a pouch, the pouch was cut small such that the clip-ons were a tight fit, and were short so that part of one lens was exposed to the elements. The cleaning cloth is a little thin compared with the ones I use on my camera lenses, but it works perfectly well.Moving on to the clip-ons themselves. These are decent quality clip-ons, the actual clip is right at the top of each lens and gives the very good depth, unlike some makes I've had where the hinge is several millimetres down which, with my glasses, causes a loss of useable lens area at the bottom. The hinge works beautifully, holding at just about any angle I move the lenses to. The gripping arms provide a good grip of both thick and thin lenses. The lenses are certainly large enough, possibly over-large for some, rubbing their nose, but a nail file will trim them back if you go gently, run the file along the edge, not across it. The lenses are polarized to a decent level, not quite as strongly as the brand which created the idea, but strongly enough to kill a lot of unwanted reflections. The colour is very close to a neutral grey and isn't dark enough to cause problems when walking into a shadowed area (before you can flip them out of the way), yet is dark enough to be comfortable in bright sunlight. They work as well as any other brand I've had in the past, and much better than most.Why the 0.1 deduction? Well, the nipples/condoms/teats/whatever you want to call the little rubber things that cover the gripping arms need to be glued in place. They come adrift far too easily otherwise.
