This is hands down the best nutcracker I have ever used! It's sturdy, efficient and makes cracking even the toughest nuts so much easier.

A little overkill for filbert nuts, but the grocery store cracker had the nuts slipping out and were flimsy.These are sturdy and crack the nuts without a problem.

I like this nut cracker. It is the only one I have used that allows you to crack a walnut shell without completely obliterating the nut inside. Take a little bit of control, you don't squeeze with full force, squeeze until you hear a few cracks, and rotate the walnut a few times, until you are able to remove the the shell with most of the nut intact.

Excelentes y prácticas pinzas para poder partir las nueces y también se puede utilizar para partir las manos de cangrejo

No me gustó porque se necesita de mucha fuerza para romper las nueces de macadamia, mi madre u otras personas en mi familia no pueden romper las nueces con eso.

This is a GREAT nutcracker. We use it to crack paper shell pecans. The top circle has larger teeth that can easily crack a tougher shell. The smaller circle underneath has grippers which help hold the nut in place; it is great for applying more controlled pressure for nuts you've started up top or those that don't require as much pressure in the first place. My father-in-law came to visit last year and liked it so much he asked me to send one to his house. My dad came this morning, and he requested one as well. :) Plus, the price can't be beat! The rubber handles slip down a little from time to time, but it's not a big deal. I am able to continuously use this device for quite a long time before I have any fatigue in my hand at all.
