Wish I had this product when I was in college! I was looking for a product that would transcribe audio from my meetings and lectures. It's one thing to have a recording of a lecture but it's even better (for me at least) to have it transcribed. I learn faster reading vs listening but that's just me. I'm a visual person and can see the image of text as I recall what I'm reading as I search for some solution. I don't get the same or similar response when I learn from audio recordings. Always had a hard time just listening to people...Anyways the only real issue I had was finding the app. For some reason I could not get the QR code working and typing chime did not yield the right app in both the Apple app store and the Android play store. For Android you need to download the APK file. For the iPhone search for "chime ai" will get you to the right app. Just searching for chime did not bring up this app for some reason.My device has an hour recording of someone's activity. Sounds like someone accidently left Chime in their pocket for an hour and a spot search yield no speech. For kicks I transcribed the audio and surprisingly got some sentences... It list the time in the timeline where the sentences were heard/transcribed and I went to that time and was surprised it can transcribe words you can barely hear in the recording. I tried playing with the summary option but all the results came back in, I think, an Arabic language. I messed with it for an hour but got frustrated and eventually gave up. The next day I decided to try the iPhone version and it worked to transcribed and summarized my audio in English. I just love all the summary AI options.I noticed the transcribe feature is slightly different in the two versions. When I say errands the android app transcribed it correctly as "errands" but the iPhone version thinks I said "Aaron". Nice thing is that you can click on a pencil icon to fix any mistranslations. No electronic translator will be 100% accurate so it's not an issue I'd worry about.I love making to-do lists on the chime note. You can freestyle it and then you go to summary and select the "to-do" summary and using AI it will group your to-do in some logical grouping. For example I had a few car related to-do's and it group those under the heading "Car tasks".

Just got that yesterday. I have been using it the whole day today. So far, the recording functionality is pretty decent, and the app is pretty easy to use. The transcription was pretty nice. I especially like the summary and mind map feature.Two other things I like are 1. it is magnetic, so it sticks to my device and is pretty easy to bring. Secondly, it has wireless charging functionality, so it can double as a sort of temporary power bank which is also nice
