Wonderful. I have a 3yr old indoor cat and he's an only child so I play with him a lot. He loves wrestling with puppets and works in those back leg kicks too! He adores this squirrel and I'm sure he thinks it's his new girlfriend. I'll often find him carrying the puppet around the house like it's his kitten even though they are almost the same size.

This squirrel is about life-size, if not a little bigger. He's a truly adorable grey/red cross. The head, lower jaw and arms are moveable. He has a fabric acorn stitched to his right paw. The mouth is moveable, although it's a little fiddly to get the mouth to open and close easily. An adult can only fit one finger in the lower jaw to mobilize the mouth, while keeping other fingers in the arms. He's very cuddly and soft. It's obvious from holding it that it's a high quality item that's been well designed and made. The tail (brush) is *very* high quality and particularly exquisite. The brush is stitched in place, where the base is connected to half his back. Our item is very much as the pictures represent. He has several plastic strand whiskers as well. I'd say he's great for storytelling, teaching, day-care, pre-school, games, etc.. But not sure for professional stage use, as the mouth isn't large enough? The opening is a good size for both adults and children. Kids from 6 to 60 love him! Highly recommended if you're after a grey squirrel puppet. Folkmains also make a red squirrel (https://www.amazon.com/Folkmanis-Red-Squirrel-Hand-Puppet/dp/B003U7C490/). We looked at that but preferred the coloring of this one as it's more variegated and appealing. The red one is more 'plain' chestnut-brown, but very life-like as well.

This thing is wonderful! The perfect gift for a 3 yr old who is obsessed with ‘figgles’. It arrived in time to be her Christmas present, and her face when she opened it was an absolute picture. Mr Squiirrel is a proud member of the family now. Totally adorable. Great product

Great puppet , slighty bigger than a real squirrel and with great detail.you can move the mouth to make the squirrel talk and is easy to use.worth paying extra for such great animated puppet.mine is well used in a preschool, and withstands lots of rough cuddles! The children love him and squeal with delight when he makes a cheeky appearance in the classroom at story time.
