Nice and sturdy table. Not too difficult to assemble, and it has been holding up great. The steel top is easy to clean, which was a must for me. Buying this almost doubled my kitchen's work area, as well as giving me some much needed storage space with the lower shelf for large pots and kitchen appliances.

Table is solid, can tell it'll last. Did arrive with some dents and dings but I think that's just to be expected with something of this size/weight being shipped.

Our basement has had water problems over the years, but last year two severe storms resulted in extensive flooding. As part of rebuilding the basement we aimed towards using materials and fixtures that could handle water more effectively. To the end we demo'd our laundry folding area and replaced a set of kitchen cabinets and countertops that had served as our folding area, with this table (and some wire shelving to replace a pantry style cabinet. Key for us was having furniture on legs, no wood or mdf, and adjustability. I think that this unit is a good fit and the price is very reasonable in my opinion. Assembly was easy. I note that several people received units with minor cosmetic damage. The only thing I saw was a slightly bent backsplash in one corner. It's nominal and doesn't impact anything. The top and shelf pieces come wrapped in a protective film and they look perfect. I'm happy with this purchase and relieved it's something I don't have to worry about getting damaged if there is a future flood.

Not sure if the the damage was there prior to shipping, but the table I received has dents in it and a few broken welds

Standard commercial kitchen table. Yes few bumps from shipping but what do you expect? If you need something that is totally perfect and blemish proof, you're in the wrong price range. This thing looks good to me and was easy to assemble alone.Tip: Its difficult to get the lower shelf to 'slide' on all 4 legs evenly, otherwise its a breeze. Here's my recommendation1) mark desired lower shelf height on all 4 legs with sharpie2) lay tabletop facedown on floor3) lay shelf facedown on top of tabletop, line up corner holes for legs4) insert legs through holes for both tabletop and shelf5) tighten tabletop cornersAfter that you're kind of on your own, I stacked up the right height of cardboard boxes and flipped whole table to its standing position with lower shelf positioned over center of box stack. Then I shimmied each corner of shelf to its desired height mark and tightened. Its easier to lower shelf from center point evenly, total pain to try to pull one end down then the other end.
