I am so glad that these pants come with an adjustable waistband. Our child is long and lean, and we constantly struggle with pants that are either too loose at the waist or too short in the leg, but we can work with this. The fabric is soft and slightly fuzzy; I am not sure it’s a true corduroy because it lacks the distinctive wales/vertical lines that are usually present, but it’s a nice texture all the same. There are two false pockets at the front in the shape of a bow for cute decoration.In person the pants are very light robin’s egg blue. The light pastel makes them perfect for Easter and spring outfits, but messy children will stain them easily. When we washed the pants, we didn’t notice any significant shrinkage and the pants stayed just as soft as before.

I got this for my 5 year old and the 5T fits her perfectly. She really likes them and wears them often. They are comfortable, soft, and stretchy. They're not like the corduroy pants I grew up with, which were stiff and corrugated. These seem like leggings more than pants - a blending of both. The construction seems durable and should definitely last until she outgrows them.

"Corduroy is a woven fabric with a distinctive raised texture of vertical rows of soft pile, called wales or cords." These are not that but they are more like a "velvet" kind of material. With that said they are super adorable! The faux pockets in front have little "bow" designs at the top and the flare legs are so cute on little girls! The back pockets are actual pockets. The color of these is called "bunny tail" and it's not stark white, but it's not a cream color either...it's somewhere in between. It's a snap button closure with a real zipper, but the zipper is a little catchy. I'm going to try rubbing a bar of soap on the teeth to see if it will smooth out any, but it's not so bad that I won't put the pants on my child.

These gymboree flares are super soft, kind of a velvety material, and the blue is a great match to any Elsa or Bluey gear your kiddo might have. I was hoping they would be the kind of pants that have the adjustable elastic around the sides of the waist, but they weren't. However, the pants ran a bit small so it didn't end up being a problem.
