Descripción: Medidor de Nitratos (0.0 – 110 mg/L) dulce / salada 80 test.
Características: Esencial para la calidad del agua. Para acuarios de agua dulce y salada. Los nitratos deberían controlarse regularmente porque indican el grado de contaminación y por ende, si es necesario cambiar de agua del acuario. Los nitratos se acumulan con el tiempo y es difícil extraerlos con métodos convencionales de filtración.
Contenido:1 Botella (17 ml) de reactivo para nitratos, N°1
1 Botella (6 ml) de reactivo para nitratos, N°2
1 Botella (18 ml) de reactivo para nitratos, N°3
1 Tubo de ensayo de vidrio con tapón.
1 Pipeta
1 Base de laboratorio
1 Manual de instrucciones

Love this product very accurate. Only problem is I run out to fast. Last time bottle 3 ran our fist which was odd. I will see is it happens again and check back.

Siempre marcaba el mismo color, por lo que decidí agregar peces debido a que marca que ya era "seguro" pero no fue y tuve que volver a ciclar desde cero. Además es súper tóxico las instrucciones lo dice por supuesto y no me deja regresar el producto apesar de tener aún tiempo para poder hacerlo.

Este es un tester que es esencial para ciclar tu acuario, luego del ciclado pierde un poco de utilidad pero yo que tengo 3 acuarios siempre lo uso para estar monitoreando que todo este correcto. Se usa muy fácil y hasta ahora me ha dado muy buenos resultados. Te recomiendo tenerlo si vas a comenzar un acuario nuevo o si nunca haz medido los parámetros del acuario que tienes.

Bought this to top up my master kit. If you are a beginner then this probably isn't for you and you'll be better with dip strips which really just give you a high/low indication. If you want a more accurate test, love playing with test tubes, and importantly don't want to be dipping chemical loaded strips into your aquarium, then this is definitely for you. Once you have your technique right for creating the right size of drips, this gives consistently accurate results. Keep an eye on the use by date and ensure that you shake reactant 3 until your arm aches. Some of the chemical in the solvent settles out of the solution when it has been stood a while, this can give false high readings. Like everything with keeping fish, the extra time spent is well worth it to provide a great environment for happy fish.

I use Nutrafin brand for the most part, they are easy to use but a bit pricey and hard to find in the stores.

I have used this test kit several times to monitor Nitrate in aquariums. It is the one kit that has been thoroughly consistent and accurate. You must use good light though when reading the results and follow the directions to the letter, that is important. I have found that viewing the test bottle against the card in direct sunlight helps to match the result to the closest PPM on the card. It can be a little confusing as the other reviewer claimed, but you are aiming for low readings to begin with and this brand is more accurate than the other cheaper one for Nitrate. And at this price compared to getting it at a chain pet store or LFS it is a great deal!
