I don't know much about lures, per se, but grandson certainly does and I knew he'd been dreaming on this popper. I was surprised at the size when it arrived and how beautiful it was. It had a special place in his stocking at Christmas and he was beyond thrilled. Popper just as described, very nice quality (according to the 'expert') and I was very pleased with how quickly it arrived and the opportunity for learning all about it from grandson. Very satisfying purchase all around

Worked great. Made great action on the surf and casted well with a 7 foot ugly stick.
