I am very picky about car accessories and kinda an OEM purist. I've had my Model Y for a month as of today. I love the car and generally find that the OEM accessories are spot on, but their selection is limited.This led me into the deep, deep waters of aftermarket accessories. I have researched accessories more than I'd like to admit (least of all to my boss). I've gone blind watching video reviews. I've tried many of the popular companies (Sp***n, J**ua, etc.). Thank you Amazon for your amazing return policy because I've returned almost every accessory I have bought; UNTIL NOW!The most anxious part of my day is the 25-minutes between picking up my iced coffee from the drive-thru window and getting to work. Why? The straw wrapper! It's just sitting there in the cupholder taunting me. Sure it may absorb a drop or two of condensate from the neighboring iced coffee but it's just staring at me. What if I'm in an accident? The paramedics will see trash in my car. What would my mother say?!? If I forget it there when I get to work, I won't be able to focus and I might get fired. What to do?Get this cupholder! Now I can slide open the space age door on my new trash receptacle, drop the offensive, taunting straw wrapper inside it and close the hatch placing it out of sight and out of mind. Yes, I have issues and this amazing gadget is the cure. It's perfectly sized. It could hold more than a year's worth of straw wrappers! It's smartly designed. It's my new hero!As the OEM purist I had some questions that I now can answer...Q: Does it really fit perfectly in my Model Y's door?A: Yes. Even the angle of the lid compliments the angle of the door. Seriously, where did Haloblk find these designers?Q: Is the whole thing hard plastic?A: No. Only the lid and the trash liner retainer ring. The rest is high quality silicone.Q: Is it so small that it's just silly?A: No. It is large enough to hold several napkins/tissues, candy wrappers, even a chip bag or two. Imagine how much you can stuff into a 20-ounce disposable cup; a lot.Haloblk has done the impossible. They have won over this OEM snob. I've already made five other Haloblk purchases and have received four of them. They are 5 out of 5 rated products as well!It sounds like I'm an agent for Haloblk; I'm not. I made these purchases on my own after my own exhaustive research, trial and error. I paid what anyone else would have paid here on Amazon. I'm just a new loyalist (potentially oxymoronic). Nothing more. Although, if Haloblk is reading this, what's up? Lol!

I keep it in my car door. It’s perfect for all the small trash I accumulate - receipts, wrappers, etc. product came with trash liners, a pleasant surprise. Getting one for each door!

Halo BLK should have more products available in Canada - nice packaging, interesting designs and solid built product.

I don't have a Tesla but I bought this anyway because of how interesting it looks. The lid is unique and has a slide closure. This fits in the pocket of my driver door which I think is intended to fit plastic water bottles at a slight angle. Becaue this trash can is made of silicone, it fits perfectly in this spot without shifting or rattling. The space would probably be too small for this size trash can if it was made from anything else besides the shape-bending silicone that it comes in.It also comes with mini trash bags which are basically the size of dog poop bags. The trash can itself doesn't fit much, particularly because of the narrow opening. I'd rather have a flip up lid or drop down lid where the whole top opens. Because of this narrow opening, you have to scrunch up any trash you plan to put in there.Overall, overpriced for what it is. Could make a nice gift because it comes with a nice pouch, but there are better car trash cans on the market that are more functional.
