We will see how it does in the long run* but so far so good. Unlike some Vitamix and Blendtec my wife has had this one does not need earmuffs and moving the dog to another room (I am not kidding about that). No it is not whisper quiet-she's blending frozen blueberries etc after all-but the level and spectrum of the noise is bearable. Also it is not crazy tall like some other noise shielded blenders. The blending itself she seems quite happy with.*I went with Hamilton Beach since they are an actual USA company in business a long time, hence some hope of repairs in or out of warranty, and of getting parts if needed. So many funny brands on Amazon may make fine units, but when you need something, forget it.

La use durante 4 meses y se dañó, la tarjeta que va adentro se descompuso y dejó de funcionar, es triste saber que una buena marca te vende algo de mala calidad, además la tapa no disminuye el ruido, hace el mismo ruido que una licuadora convencional, fue dinero tirado a la basura pues solo me duró 4 meses y dejó de funcionar.

I needed a blender, and I was concerned about how loud my previous Ninja blender was. I didn’t want to be too loud in my apartment and was worried about annoying my neighbors. But I didn’t want to sacrifice on the performance. I read lots of reviews and metrics about some of the better-known high-end blenders, and even considered making my own acrylic sound shield for a Vitamix. Eventually I decided I was being kind of crazy and that I didn’t need a $500 blender. Because of the great review, and very quiet noise tests, on the Rtings site, I decided to go with this one. It works great, has enough capacity for what I need, and is significantly quieter than I expected it to be. Don’t get me wrong, all blenders are pretty loud and this is no exception. But I was very surprised how effective the noise cover was. This is a great option if you need a medium-sized blender and you’re concerned about noise level. If that’s you, definitely give this one some consideration.

Licuadora como cualquier otra muy ruidosa aún con la protección que tiene !

Hasta este momento muy satisfecho con esta licuadora, seguido hago smoothies, licuados, malteadas, salsas y demas preparaciones con ella y quedan excelentes el motor es muy potente, eso si el vaso es de solo 1 litro.

No hace ruido molesto, en velocidad 2 puedo hacer mis smoothies en 1 minuto y tener una llamada por celular junto a la licuadora sin problemas, la verdad mi airfryer hace más ruido, la amo

Yes, the noise cancelation is great, and it gets the job done, BUT, the blades are NOT made of stainless steel!! My blades are all covered in rust, and it's really hard to get rid of it, and even if you do it keeps forming again, so now it's unusable. Choose a blender from another company with actual stainless steel blades! Disappointed.

The blender is good. Powerful, the noise-reducing cover is effective. The product is great!I wanted to give a shout-out to the Hamilton Company!I had a crack in my "unshatterable" blender jar. I wrote Hamilton Canada. They sent me a postage label. I sent them the product for investigation. And they sent me a replacement.This kind of no-nonsense customer service is so rare these days. I will gladly seek out more Hamilton products in future!

Licúa súper padre, solo el vaso estaría bien que fuera poquito más grande pero entiendo que el precio es por el buen motor que tiene. Sí hace ruido pero no es taaaan fuerte como el de otras licuadoras.

Funciona excelente, hago smoothies y frappes casi diario y todo muy bien, la jarrita para el ruido realmente no silencia mucho, pero sirve

I didn't want to spend 700$ on a top-end industrial-type blender, but still wanted something relatively quiet as we live in an apartment building. This is quiet enough to talk over and it doesn't scare the cats! It has really intense blending power, too, and making smoothies and margaritas is now my favourite thing to do. The cleaning process is very simple too!
