Was a bit surprised as to the quality of this hammer. With the pricing my expectations were kinda low. It's a great little hammer. Really believed I would be buying again at a much higher price, but not the case. I'll wear this one out before getting another.

It's a nice little hammer. Unfortunately, it arrived with dents on the cross pien edge, which indicates that someone smacked the edge of something with it before I got it. That means ii have to polish the edge before I can use it for precious metals, and frankly, given the lousy job Amazon did with tracking and delivery (neither of which is the seller's fault) I'm not especially happy. I expected a hammer that was not already married on either contact face. The price was good, the weight is good, but gouged edge is not good. I cannot give a full 5 star review when I have to fix the problem I was sent.

I purchased it for a very specialized application as part of my grab bar installation services

Quality hammer that I use for forming jewelry pieces (I make a lot of findings). It is a bit on the small side; but then again, I work on very intricate components.Highly recommend

This is a very handy little hammer and seems to be well made. Regarding the review about the hammer leaving marks on the metal, that is the nature of a flat-head hammer, which this is clearly disclosed as being. My experience is that riveting hammers usually have slightly domed heads instead of flat, so they are less inclined to leave marks.
