If you like over the calf socks like I do, taking everything in consideration, these are pretty good socks for what you are paying. My only complaint is if you wear them every day on hardwood or tile floor, they do not last very long.

Theses socks are very sturdy and well made. The top portion is stretchy like compression socks. They don't roll or slide down. I buys theses for my diabetic son. They help with the swelling.

Over the calf is a misnomer. They barely reach the knee, they're made of cheap polyester and fall down. Buyer beware

Seems like the only place I can get over-the-calf (OTC) socks is Amazon. However, with these Hanes, every order is like a box of chocolates--you don't know what you're going to get.In 2020 or so, I got some that were real fluffy and soft, and pill like crazy in the dryer, and they don't last terribly long. But, I could deal with that, just have to order more often and keep some on hand for replacements. Then, I ordered again Jan '23, didn't bother to check them before storing them. Time to use them, and they were all stupid girly ankle socks--which I despise violently. Too late to return them.This last order here in Jan '24, what I got were more than half polyester, have no stretch, don't go up to my knees, and are slippery on hard floors. They also don't like to stay up very well. And that's all when brand-new, don't know about how they will age.OTC socks *need* to always be at least 80-85% cotton, there is no reason for polyester to be used in clothes. Obviously, you need some kind of elastic in the upper-parts to keep them up, but the rest should be cotton.
