Pros: an easy way to make tea without dealing with an inner mesh basket. Pretty and unusual design.Cons: the clever mesh lid, designed to strain your tea, falls off if you don't hold it in place while pouring. It's surprisingly loosely-fitted. Because of the perfectly rotund shape of the tea pot, you WILL end up pouring the last cup of tea by tilting the pot at an extreme angle so that the lid would fall off. If you're brewing large loose-leaf tea, for your last cup of tea, the leaves would collect in the lid and block the last bit of tea from coming out. I suppose if you were the perfect hostess or tea aficionado, you wouldn't try to drain the pot of tea, you'd throw away the dregs? The whole teapot is rather delicate and pretty - it will probably be accidentally broken at some point - rather like using a large, thin glass light bulb. Children should not be trusted with it.

I like this pot because it can let the leaves really expand and release the aroma.My style is to add extra leaves and filter the juice out. In this way I can have the best section of the flavor without the bitterness.Also the big opening make it easy to clean. Love it.
