The HyDrive Design
The HD15 is a compact bass combo featuring a 15-watt amplifier and a 6.5-Inch custom-designed HyDrive speaker. Hartke''s patented HyDrive Speaker Technology offers a carefully crafted hybrid (half paper, half aluminum) cone bass speaker. By combining the warmth and roundness of paper with the punch and attack of aluminum, the HyDrive design produces serious tone that is ideal for bass players of all genres and styles.

Packed with professional features, the HD15 combo is designed to be user-friendly and reliable for players of all levels. The combo offers Volume, Bass, Mid and Treble controls on its top-mounted amplifier panel, allowing for easy adjustments. Additional Features

There's a reason this thing is used in so many bass guitar review videos. It sounds like a real bass amp, despite only 15 watts and a 6.5" speaker. It won't shake your fillings loose, but it gets surprising punch and weight. Great tone and very very versatile - note that the mid knob is a cut, while the bass and treble knobs are boost/cut. I recommend turning up the mid until it sounds a little boxed in, then backing off. It has a built-in limiter which IMO is a very smart choice.Works great with my active bass, quite loud for home practice, and I've even used it with my all-acoustic five piece band, it works well enough for rehearsals. Honestly if it had a DI out I would take it to gigs. This has to be the best value bass practice amp there is. If I ever want a bigger amp instead of a DI, I'll look at Hartke first, although their bigger stuff gets into Ampeg prices so there's more to consider.

Il prodotto è molto ben realizzato (la cura costruttiva è elevata). Molto bello, compatto e leggerissimo. La potenza nominale è apparentemente bassa (15W); è comunque più che sufficiente per litigare con i vicini o con la compagna (per studiare in appartamento è perfetto! ). L'equalizzazione è efficacie e si possono utilizzare con efficacia anche eventuali effetti. Se abitate in appartamento, mi sento di sconsigliare la taglia superiore (HD25), più ingombrante ed inutilmente più potente.

Good for practicing in small space. Nice and loud. Aux input is a welcome feature.
