I bought a smaller version of this Hastings thermal carafe 6 years ago and have been using it for tea every day. I love it and I am still using it. I decided I wanted a bigger carafe for my tea and of course I had to come back to Hastings. My older, smaller carafe will now hold my morning coffee. This carafe keeps drinks hot, it is a beautiful piece to have sitting on my counter all day and I very much appreciate the metal basket for my teas. I only wish the bigger basket was all metal as well. I do not use it because I don't think boiling water on plastic is a good idea. Other than that, this is an excellent product and I am sure I will get many years use out of it.

We bought several of these for a Hot Chocolate Bar. One unfortunately was cracked at the wooden handle, however Customer Service was VERY responsive and excellent! These are very attractive thermal carafes and hold the heat even after several hours. Pouring is simple and smooth. My guests commented on how well the heat was retained and how pretty they looked. Their modern and elegant styling is perfect for any table casual to formal. I’m very happy with these and will use them for many occasions.

Me gusta mucho, su diseño, resistencia y mantiene muy bien el calor por mas de 12 hrs, en ella preparo diario té de hoja, me encanta que traiga su propio filtro de malla. Soy feliz!

Es difícil encontrar un buen regalo para mi esposo y con este regalo di en el clavo, es bonito y muy funcional, le caben dos litros de café, además puedes preparar café ahí mismo, caliente, friío, té para tomar en el momento o té para tomar después, está divino.¿desventajas? es pesado, pero esa es una característica inherente al material del que está hecho y a la capacidad que tiene.

Por dentro es de acero inoxidable lo cual es convenient, trae filtro de infusión y filtro para café inoxidable. Es muy bonito y aesthetic. Lo compré para regalo y ahora pediré uno para mi

Really impressed with this. We’ve been looking for a very capacious, insulated teapot for leaf tea for ages. Being fussy, we also wanted it to be aesthetically pleasing (ie not feel like it was something we’d have at work. It has exceeded our expectations! It takes a full kettle of water (1.8l) and keeps the tea warm for hours. Considering buying for family and friends now!

I have ordered two of these jugs and on both occasions the boxes have arrived damaged, and the products were damaged and broken inside. Very dissatisfied as these were supposed to be Christmas presents

I bought the venera thermal carafe after buying and falling in love with my 50oz lagom. I have another thermal carafe from another brand that can hold the same amount of volume (68oz), and that one feels very big and bulky for daily use so I expected to feel that way about this one. To my surprise, the venera is sleek, elegant, and beautiful in person; for how big it looks, it holds an incredible amount of liquid! The thermal capabilities are good; it keeps my tea at my preferred temperature for about 3 hours, but still warm enough to drink after about 6 hours. I love the strainers so much; the mesh one is perfect for brewing my green teas and oolong teas, as they need room to expand for the flavors to come out. I'd love if they could be sold separately as well so I can buy extras! The areas that I wish were improved are 1. the wood on the handle starts to peel over time, 2. the area where the plastic and metal meet is hard to clean, and is easily stained by tea and coffee, and 3. while the heating is fairly good and stays warm for a few hours, I do have another carafe that can stay warm for twice as long. I hope in the future, the Hastings carafes will match it. With that being said, the minimalistic design of the Hastings carafes cannot be beat. They're beautiful as they are practical and functional. Despite some of my other thermals having an edge on how long they keep liquids warm, the Hastings ones still remain my go-to for every day use and most recommended to friends.
