This machine can only clean a stain, not a whole area. You could get the same effect with less hassle by using a spray spot cleaner from the store instead of this complicated gadgetry. It won't clean your carpets.

The cleaning product works well and it has made our old couch much cleaner. We did have to clean it a few times in a row, first with the cleaning spray, then with a rinse or two. The amount of dirty water produced is impressive.

Great little machine that makes cleaning a carpet stain easy and quick. Lightweight, so it stays handy for pet mishaps and people mishaps. Easy to fill with hot water and easy to clean up. Very pleased.

I’ve had two Green Machines over the years and this beats them hands down!! It really sucks the carpets almost dry. I love the long hose and cord. It’s easy to clean - I can take off the transparent hood on the wand (i.e. ‘water sucker’) and clean it out - not so on the Green Machine. It is lighter than the old Green Machine too - AND QUIETER! I was hesitant to change brands but I’m sure glad I did. The one thing though - where can I get more of that cleaning solution that came with the machine!! The terminology in the instructions is a bit odd, but the instructions are clear. I would recommend sucking up some clean water at the end of the job in order to clean out the hose.UPDATE Jan 2025 - I’m still in love with this machine. I used it again today and marveled at the great job it does and how easy cleanup was. If there were ten stars this machine would get them!
