I got this for my 6 year old, and the aunties and tūtūs have already requested copies for other kids in the family. This book has great information (letters, phrases, numbers, colors, pronunciation guides, fun facts, etc). It also presents the information in a variety of ways (trace, color by number, word search, maze, fill in the blank, etc). We love that the range of information and activities appeals to kids of different ages and abilities. The content is really educational and also fun.As a Kanaka mom who actively searches for this type of content for my keiki, I am grateful to have this resource. I love that many of the words can be worked into our daily conversations, as we are trying to encourage 'ōlelo Hawai'i. We would definitely purchase other books from this publisher for kids of different ages. If you're on the fence, just buy it!

Bought this for our upcoming trip to Honolulu. Taking the whole family, including 3 young children. Wanted activities for the kids that didn't include staring at an iPad for 13 hours. Found this book - attracted by darling cover art and the sample looked cool.Received book a week ago and we're hooked. Been integrating words into our household vocab. Even speaking to our dog and cat - especially A'ole ("no"). So fun! We're all learning!! Kids love the activities and have already completed all the activities. I've ordered 3 more for the trip - will need to hide them.Definitely recommend for anyone - traveling to the Islands, interested in Hawaiian culture...Hope to see more activity books from this publisher.

I bought this for my five year old grandson who’ll be starting Hawaiian Immersion school soon. He loves reading it and enjoys the activities. I especially like that the activities range from simple to challenging. It’s an excellent learning tool.
