The product is well-made unfortunately the documentation was completely inadequate. It provided a nice sheet, giving multiple pictures of the product and its dimensions. Unfortunately, there was not one piece of documentation on how the pins worked and most importantly that there were two different size pins shipped with the product. One set for 30 A and the rest for 20 A. Unfortunately, I made the main bus out of the first two pins I grabbed not realizing they were different pins. They assumed that people would know how the Anderson plug system worked. Otherwise it is a good product and if you learn how to do the pins and correctly seat them in the connector , you will not have an issue.

As a Ham Radio Operator, this was perfect or my ham shack! The included connectors were easy to attach to the power cables either by crimp or solder. Now I am able to swap my radios from portable to base and back as simple as unplugging a cord. This is also compatible with my solar charger and battery system making it easy to use any power source in a flash. Highly Recommend!

I recently got my hands on the HDC 8 port power distribution block as a ham radio operator, and I must say, it's been a game-changer for my field operations. When you're out in the field making radio contacts, having the right equipment is essential, and this distribution block has proven to be a reliable addition to my setup.One of the standout features of this unit is its ability to handle up to 45A of current. This means that no matter what I throw at it, it can handle the load without breaking a sweat. The aluminum enclosure gives it a sturdy and robust feel, and the inclusion of 8 ports with Anderson Power Pole connectors makes it incredibly versatile.Speaking of Anderson Power Pole connectors, they are brilliant, and this distribution block lets you connect up to 8 of them in any configuration you need. I primarily use it for my portable radio operations when I have multiple pieces of equipment that need power from a single source. The setup is incredibly clean and organized, and it's so much easier than trying to bolt in a pair of bus bars.The fact that it's fully insulated is a bonus, and it adds an extra layer of safety to my setup. Plus, its compact size allows it to fit into tight spaces, making it ideal for remote operations where space is limited. It feels sturdy and well-made, so I have confidence that it will last for a long time.One thing I wish it had was built-in fuses at the input to protect against shorts. I ended up adding my own inline fuse in the wiring to address this concern. It's a minor inconvenience, but it would have been a nice feature to have.In conclusion, the HDC 8 port power distribution block has proven to be a valuable addition to my ham radio setup. It's efficient, versatile, and helps keep my wiring neat and organized. Despite a minor quibble about the lack of built-in fuses, this product is a winner and makes my field operations much smoother. If you're looking for a reliable power distribution solution for your ham radio equipment, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

High-quality assemble with baked painted finish. heavy gauge metal should last forever. I tested all the connectors and they work perfectly. The connectors are smooth and fit well.I'm looking forward to installing this on a battery go-box.
