This adapter certainly works. In my testing, it supplied 80W to my Thinkpad P1 Gen5 with graphics copro (170W yellow slim tip power supply). My test may be helpful to others wondering if this is what they want. I have an Anker GaN Prime 100W (20V 5A) USB-C charger and 100W-capable USB-C cable. To test, I had USB-C tester in the path from charger to laptop. Test 1: Anker > tester > USB-C cable > slim tip adapter >laptop: 80W (19.5V 4.1A). Lenovo Vantage calls this a 90W power supply. Test 2: Anker > tester > USB-C cable >laptop USB-C Port : 90W (19.5V 4.6A). Lenovo Vantage calls this a 100W USB-C power supply. Note that in this configuration the laptop will complain on startup, and possibly other times, that the power supply is not adequate, but I unplugged and drained the laptop to under 50%, plugged back in with USB-C and adapter, and under moderately heavy load (3-D CAD), the battery charged at 80W. My conclusion: For travel, so I can take a smaller power supply (the Anker) for the laptop, slim tip adapter is not necessary, unless I don't want to tie up one of the USB-C laptop ports with power input. Direct USB-C power connection to the laptop is actually better.

Says 100w but will only charge up to 26w

been using this on my cheap Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E560 with a Huntkey 100W USB-C charger for months now and it works great! I especially love the L angle of the bracket so the cable doesn't get as frayed over time.
