I struggled to inflate this thing. No pump was provided and my own pump was broken. I ended up having to blow it up with a tube and as soon as I removed the tube to place the plug it leaked so much air that it was hard to get it to the capacity I wanted. Plug seems to fit well and stays in place. Very happy with the size, it's a bit smaller than others which is nice because my toddler is a bit smaller than others.
