This fan with it's natural (real) wood fan blades is beautiful and unique looking. It' also works well with no wobble or noise. After installation, I could feel the breeze it created when I walked in from the garage, 1 room and 1 hallway away from where the fan was running, even though it doesn't rotate at tremendous speed. The fan blades are very effective at the lower rpm this fan operates at.Pros:1) The instructions are accurate and orderly. I thought I was smarter than the instructions at one point and decided not to install the fan blade until it was hanging. Big mistake. You can't install them in the air. I had to remove it, install the blades and then rehang it. Follow the instructions as written!2) The fan blades are all natural wood and they're beautiful.3) The whole fan assembly, hanging in your great room, on your porch or in your bedroom is beautiful and it catches the eye as soon as you enter the room.4) It comes with everything you need to install it, with one exception that I'll discuss further in the "Cons" section.5) It comes neatly boxed in a well protected package that is unlikely to sustain damage in shipment.6) It's not as heavy as it looks. In fact, I replaced a smaller fan assembly that was actually quite a bit heavier than this one.7) The electrical connection is easy. There's a terminal strip for your L-N-G connections and plugs for the remote receiver module to the motor controls. Everything connects in a neat and tidy manner.7) The hardest part of the installation is climbing the ladder over and over again. Get a helper to hand stuff up to you during the installation process 😆Cons:1) They assume you're installing it on a ceiling made from drywall or hard material such as concrete. They don't assume you're installing it on a overhead fan rated electrical box. As a result, they don't provide hardware for that option. The screws they provide are much too large and the alternative, (concrete anchors) is completely unusable. I spent 30 minutes going through my collection of miscellaneous screws, climbing the 10' ladder countless times until I finally found the right screws for my installation. That was the hardest part of the job for me and it wore me out before I even got started. We went from a smaller fan to this large, (72") fan and I was afraid that it might be too much for our great room. However, after installing it and test running it I fell in love with it. When I asked my wife for her opinion, she was equally impressed and loved the look. I'm/we're very happy with the quality, appearance and operation of this fan and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their existing fan or to install a new fan in or around their residence.

I recently installed the Heimo 52-inch Ceiling Fan in my living room, and I’m genuinely impressed with both its performance and design. Right out of the box, the fan has a sleek, modern farmhouse aesthetic with beautifully crafted walnut-finished wooden blades that feel sturdy and well-made. It adds a warm, sophisticated touch without being too rustic – perfect if you’re aiming for a modern yet cozy vibe.Installation:The installation process was fairly straightforward. The instructions were clear, and the fan comes with everything you need for mounting. It took about an hour from start to finish. It’s compatible with both flat and sloped ceilings, which is a plus if you have unique ceiling angles.Performance:This fan moves a lot of air – even on the lowest setting, I felt a gentle, consistent breeze. With three speed settings controlled by a remote, it’s easy to adjust for different rooms or seasons. It’s whisper-quiet, even on the highest setting, which is perfect for bedrooms or living areas where you want airflow without noise.Design & Build Quality:The three-blade design isn’t just for looks – it’s aerodynamic and efficient. The blades themselves are real wood, not plastic, which gives the fan a premium feel. The walnut finish is rich and blends beautifully with both modern and farmhouse interiors.Remote Control Convenience:The included remote control is simple and responsive, allowing you to change speeds and turn the fan on or off from across the room. It also has a memory function, so it resumes the last setting when powered on again – a small but thoughtful detail.Indoor/Outdoor Versatility:While I installed mine indoors, it’s rated for outdoor use as well, making it a versatile option for covered patios or porches. Given its durable build, I have no doubt it would hold up well outside.Final Thoughts:If you’re looking for a ceiling fan that combines modern style with powerful, quiet operation, the Heimo 52-inch Ceiling Fan is a fantastic choice. It’s well-built, easy to use, and looks much more expensive than it is. Whether it’s for a bedroom, living room, or outdoor patio, it delivers both function and style effortlessly.Pros:Beautiful, real wood blades with a sleek walnut finishQuiet yet powerful airflow with three-speed optionsEasy installation with remote control convenienceSuitable for both indoor and outdoor spacesCons:No integrated light (which is a plus if you prefer a minimalist design)Would I recommend it? Absolutely. It’s a high-quality, stylish fan that delivers excellent performance without noise or fuss.

This fan arrived very nicely packaged. I always think the packaging reflects something about the value of the product, and I have to say that the fan inside the box didn’t disappoint. The solid wood blades are beautiful and the black metal parts are classy looking. Some of the installation instructions were perplexing. For example, one instruction said “Before installing the fan blade, make sure that the iron ring (red) is covered On the fan blade, tighten the screws.” I figure that was just a faulty translation, and the intent was to make sure that you placed the metal ring on top of the blades and inserted the screws through it.A couple of plus-minus things. A real plus is that the fan has a Euro-style wire connector strip mounted on the fan bracket. [please note that I had to remove the connector block to tighten the mounting bracket screws. The picture that shows the red piece marked “L and N” is where the connector block mounts]. I’ve not seen that before, but it’s a great space-saving alternative to the usual wire nuts that come with fans. Too bad the instructions don’t mention it. Another nice plus is how the wires from the remote receiver and the wires from the motor used push-in connectors rather than wire nuts. Another great space saver. Unfortunately, the connectors were difficult to “mate” and one wire came out when I tried to get all the wires stuffed into the canopy. I did like that all of the wires were labeled. Really makes wiring the fan up easy. Lastly, the canopy cover has two small magnets to hold it tight to the canopy. That’s just brilliant and makes for a nice tight connection.I’ve installed quite a few fans. Someone doing it for the first time might be frustrated by the instructions such as “Clamp the fan blade under the triangular cover and fix the fan blade to the motor with screws and gaskets.” I didn’t recognize any part that marked as a triangular cover and didn’t see gaskets mentioned anywhere. All in all, though, this is a really nice fan. I plan on installing a 52 inch version in another room.

A nice fan that works well and looks great. Upon opening the box I was hit with a really strong chemical VOC smell from the blades - like a solvent or very strong stain fumes. I left it open for a few days outside to air out and that really helped although it was disconcerting to smell that right off on something that would be installed over our bed.Assembling the blades onto the motor housing was really frustrating since I was doing it alone. You have to prop the motor housing on a pointed underside so it won’t sit flush and then line up the blades and metal retaining ring. I struggled until I thought to seat it on a foam ring that came in the box, that made it go so much easier. It looks like a ton of small parts as soon as you open the box and it feels like they could have shipped it in a slight larger box and not had it broken down in so many pieces but I’m sure it was a matter of what was cheapest to ship. In the end it went together just fine and I found the video on the listing page really helpful. The base of the fan that attaches to the ceiling is much smaller than the base of my previous fan so now I have a ring of old covered ceiling that needs to be painted to match the rest - something to think about depending on what you are replacing. It works well and is quiet - generates plenty of air. The look is great and very modern. .
