We use it to hold milk at the table when drinking coffee. If there is still milk in it after drinking coffee, we put it in the refrigerator and it is fine for the next day. It does not go bad as others have said. It is milk though, and this is not a thermal container so if you leave it out too long, it will go bad. If you keep adding milk without emptying it, it will also go bad. Just wanted to defend the product a bit from people saying it spoils the milk. Leaving milk out for a long time spoils the milk. Not the product. Also, lid is secure. There is one review that says it falls off. It doesn't. When you put the lid on, you turn it, so that when you pour, it stays in place. You can see from picture submitted that the lid has a feature to keep itbin olace while pouring. The only complaint is that the lid is hollow on the inside and has an acute angle inside the lip of the lid, so it has an annoying spot to get clean. But like I said...overall ...great!

Right size for a creamer and porcelain or ceramic material. Pours just fine and doesn't run back when you stop pouring. I like it very much.

This is a very cute cream pitcher but the top does not stay on when pouring. So no good.

i bought this jug,to put milk in,to save lifting 1/2 gallon of milk,so i put milk in the jug,and the next day the milk went off,quite a few times,so i would not use this to put milk in.carol
