This is a great shoe care starter kit. The carrying bag is solid and keeps everything organized, which I really appreciate. It doesn’t come with traditional wax polish but instead includes shoe creams, which are made to condition leather, restore color, and provide a soft, natural-looking shine. If you’re after that glossy, mirror finish, you’ll still want wax polish, but for regular upkeep, creams are a great choice. They soak into the leather, help keep it from drying out, and add subtle color and moisture.I’ve already added a few tins of polish I had on hand so I can layer cream for conditioning and follow with wax polish for shine when I need it. I have a pair of boots that are cracked and worn, and I can’t wait to bring them back to life with this setup.The included tools are also surprisingly good. There are separate brushes and cloths for each product, which helps avoid mixing colors. The main shine brush is full-sized, not one of those tiny ones that come as filler in other kits. Everything feels thoughtfully selected for real use, not just to pad out the count.One unexpected win: I used one of the polish kit brushes to dab a tiny bit of black shoe cream onto a pair of suede sneakers, then followed up with the stiff bristle brush from the Henviro Sneaker Cleaning Kit. It worked beautifully. The brush lifted the nap and brought the suede back to life. I’ve also used that same stiff brush to clean the soles of four pairs of sneakers, and it still looks nearly new.Even if I end up using different creams or polishes down the line, the mink oil, brushes, rags, and carrying case alone make this kit worth the price. It’s a great gift idea for someone moving out on their own, starting a job, or just beginning to learn how to care for their shoes and boots. Practical, versatile, and easy to build on.

I really like the brushes on this kit. A nice variety of sizes and seem to be well built after initial use. Some loss of bristles but that is to be expected for a new brush. Hopefully they will stand up to the test of time. Storage/travel bag is also nice touch. Polish did come off on my lower pant cuff after wearing shoes that I polished 3 days earlier. Polish did wash out with some “Shout” stain remover. Thus the 3 star review.
