I bought this luggage rack for my 92 year old mother. My main reason for choosing this particular rack was that it matched the furniture in her guest bedroom. I did not realize that it had to be assembled (my own luggage rack came in one piece). My mother had to find a local handyman to assemble it for her. He told her that the assembly instructions were very hard to follow, and he really could have used another pair of hands to put it together. Once assembled, she realized that it will not stay folded no matter how she positions it. Even when she folds it and leans it up against the wall, it automatically opens back up. This creates an issue with regards to storage of the item. Also, she does not like that the straps slide across the top rails of the rack and are not anchored in place. Every time she uses it, she has to reposition the straps so that they are an equal distance from each other and not all gathered down at one end of the rack. Overall, we are both very disappointed in this product, especially considering the cost, and do not recommend it.

I am very impressed with the quality of the of the luggage rack. The little details such as anti-scratch pads for the "feet" and rubber plugs for the screw holes were a pleasant surprise. LOTS of reviews c/o difficulty assembling. The instructions are pretty confusing - The seller has obviously been made aware and to mitigate, offer on the cover of the instructions: "if you still can't install through this installation instruction, please contact us through the Amazon store and we will send you an installation video".I didn't need the video - using logic and knowing what the end product was supposed to look like, I was able to assemble it pretty easily. I will admit -I was a somewhat confused by 8 identical screws being labeled as 4 being part C and 4 being part B. Once I decided they were identical, I just rolled with it and sure enough it worked out just fine.I definitely recommend this product - I plan to order a 2nd one for our guest cottage.

Not so easy to put together. I didn’t realize it came unassembled. It is pretty sturdy.

Somewhat difficult to understand the assembly instructions, but I got it together on the first attempt. It is quite heavy and appears to be of good quality.

Attractive, sturdy and easy to fold. A little difficult to assemble as the screws were hard to put all with way in.
