I like the strength of the magnetic base and the adjustability of the goose neck. I have owned this lamp for a few months and it is performing better than I expected.

J'ai du effectuer une réparation moi-même en l'utilisant la première fois, connections mal faites, elle n'allumait pas. Aussi, la jonction du bras articulé au niveau du bloc aimanté se dévisse facilement donc pas trop efficace pour certains positionnement. Je l'ai gardée tout de même mais je ne suis pas très satisfait.

LIke most people agree, the magnet on this lamp is poor. I would be sitting mine on a flat surface so that didnt bother me too much. What DID bother me was and is the switch itself. Poorly construction and doesnt work as it should. It still works, but I can tell that it wont last long. UPDATE: I was right. The switch finally broke in Jan. 2022. I took it apart to see if it could be repaired. I couldnt believe what I saw. There must have been 10 flimsy parts with a tiny spring holding it together and no way to repair. BUT, I went to Lowes and purchased a standard brass lamp socket, the kind people make lamps from, or replace worn out sockets. This had the old fashioned "push switch" . It just so happened that the new socket fit right into the plastic socket of this cheap lamp, and so all is well. See photo.
